Enrique Castillo Córdova founded the company in Guatemala. The capacity to dream big and work with passion to reach our dreams is the legacy of our founders, allowing us growth and development through the years.
In the beginning of the 90s, the Company starts its strategic growth plan to new territories and categories, initiating a new era of professionalization, incorporating new talents and starting an operative and commercial specialization.
In 1990, Pepsico names us the “Best Bottler of Latin America”, an award also given in 1993, 2000, 2002 and 2009.
PepsiCo names us Anchor Bottler for Central America and the expansion begins in Honduras, Nicaragua and El Salvador.
cbc evolves into a multi beverage company with the introduction of sport drinks due to PepsiCo´s portfolio expansion
A strategic alliance was wade with Ambev of the ABInBev group, the largest beer Company in the world. This alliance stirred up the beer market in Central America with the introduction of new brands produced in Guatemala, as well as brands from the global portfolio.
cbc continues growing its portfolio with juices, nectars, functional and nutritious beverages through the acquisition of the Livsmart manufacturer in El Salvador.
The expansion continues to The Caribbean and operations initiate in Jamaica and Puerto Rico.
We continue our growth, reaching South America with an Alliance with Tesalia and Tropical groups in Ecuador.
PepsiCo gives us the “Best Bottler of the World” award.
Operations began in Peru with a strategic alliance with Ambev.
Livsmart evolves into Beliv, a multinational brands Company that allows us to answer rapidly to global consumer trends in the functional and nutritious beverages.
Beliv reaches Argentina with a strategic Alliance with El Carmen de Tucumán company, developing the premium juices markets in several countries.
