Communication in Progress 2014 – United Nations Global Compact
Since cbc foundation in 1885, a fundamental part of our politics and management model have been our ethics, the respect to people´s dignity and its comprehensive development, as well as our contribution to the development of the communities in which we operate. This has been the base of our growth and international expansion.
As another step in this commitment, beginning on December 2013 we joined the United Nations Global Compact, ratifying our commitment with the 10 principles in four areas: Human rights, labor standards, environment and anti-corruption policies.
This year, cbc presents its first Communication in Progress, providing evidence about the advances in 2014. Being this the first time we present the Communication in Progress, we included a company´s presentation in order to introduce to the international community general information about the company, our operations and strategic partners.
We confirm our firm commitment with the United Nations Global Compact and to continue working to contribute to reach the United Nations objectives, especially the millennium goals.
