By signing a cooperation agreement with the Education Secretary of Honduras and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), cbc joins the program “Allies for Education”.   The objective of this public-private effort is to contribute to improve education conditions for children by installing water filters at schools, by providing environmental education, by giving educational materials, by promoting peace culture and by supporting young entrepreneurs.

cbc shares the principle that education is essential to reach better levels of social well-being, economic growth and especially to increase opportunities for young people to access better employments, to develop its entrepreneurial potential and to reach their goals and objectives.

This important agreement was subscribed by Mr. Marlon Escoto, Education Secretary; Ms. Rosa María de Frade, cbc Corporate Affairs Director, and Ms. Claudia Flores, UNFPA representative.   Also present were Mr. Julio Dardón, Commercial Director and Ms. Karla Maier, Marketing Manager in cbc Honduras, as well as media and representatives of different sectors.
