Liv-Smart, a business unit of cbc, supports environmental education in El Salvador
The first “Aprendizaje Verde” (Green Learning) workshop was recently carried out in El Salvador, with the participation of 64 teachers and directors of schools at the Lourdes, Sonsonate area. They will be monitoring specific activities with children in the next school year.
The activity was performed at the Jesús Obrero School with the attendance of LivSmart People and Management Director, Mr. Alejandro Gómez, LivSmart Plant Manager, Mr. Sergio Mejía; Ms. Beatriz Gutiérrez, teacher at the Tecnológico de Monterrey; Yara González, cbc Public Relations, and Karla Galvez of cbc El Salvador.
“Aprendizaje Verde” (Green Learning) is a virtual community with educational goals that wants to pass on knowledge and environmental culture to the children population of Latin America. It was developed by the Tecnológico de Monterrey, with the support of PepsiCo, Televisa Foundation, the Young Americas Business Trust and the American States Organization. With the support of cbc, it is reaching teachers in Central America and Ecuador.
