PepsiCo and cbc recently held the “Aprendizaje Verde” (Green Learning) workshop with the objective to train 100 teachers in the departments of Sololá and Chimaltenango.

“Aprendizaje Verde” (Green Learning) is an environmental education virtual community that provides interactive tools so that kids from pre-school, elementary and high school can acquire knowledge about water care, recycling and mitigation measures against climatic change.

This program was developed by the Tecnológico de Monterrey, with the support of PepsiCo, Televisa Foundation, The Young Americas Business Trust and the American States Organization (OEA),  with the support of cbc as a strategic partner.

cbc, with the Support of Sergio Paiz Andrade Foundation (FUNSEPA), is contributing by installing computer labs in both departments involved in the Project, so that they can have the technology for their academic and environmental education.

Ms. María Teresa Vásquez from the Tecnológico de Monterrey was responsible for teaching the workshop.
