Public-private Alliance in Machahi, Cantón Mejía, Ecuador
The autonomous decentralized municipal government of Cantón Mejía and Tesalia Springs cbc, which is part of cbc corporation, signed a cooperation agreement of a public-private alliance that will improve the quality of life in the zone of Machachi, capital of Cantón Mejía, where our production plant is located. This agreement consists of financial support to execute and finish the paving of the Ricardo Fernández Salvador road.
This infrastructure improvement represents a public-private alliance that promotes the Cantón Mejía development, a very important productive zone in the country.
The cooperation agreement was subscribed by the major of Canton Mejia, Economist Ramiro Barros Jácome, and Ms. Rosa María de Frade, Director of Corporate Affairs at cbc. They both agree of the importance of joint efforts to improve the development opportunities of the inhabitants of this important region.
